The Surrealist Collection Tumbler

A true symphony of shapes, the Surrealist Collection offers its "divine" proportions to accompany every moment of the tasting. The range is thus deployed through a red wine glass, a white wine glass — both universal — a champagne glass, a water glass, and two decanters.

A Symphony for Each Beveraged

The Story

JCB The Surrealist wines on a bar with JCB Jewelry pieces.

Beyond their diversity, these pieces are distinguished by an exceptional lightness in the hand, with a featherweight ranging from 80 grams for the smallest models to only 160 grams for the red wine glass. A technical feat offering optimal lightness and maneuverability for this 84 cl and 261 mm high container.

SACRED GEOMETRY: HARMONY OF PROPORTIONS

The architecture of this collection was born from a quest for absolute balance. At the beginning of the project, the Golden Ratio and natural geometric sequences were integrated to define the first ratios of proportion and structure the initial skeleton of each glass. On the other hand, if this original impulse laid the foundations of the reflection, each curve was then adjusted by taking up the proportions applied to the lenses of the House of Lehmann.

This "sacred" inspired aesthetic welcomes a bold signature: a 4% tilt. This subtle "kick" of the rim breaks the conventional linearity to breathe new life into the wine. Through this singular geometry, the gesture frees itself from simple use to become an authentic ritual of alchemy, inviting a new sensory experience: smell on one side, tilt the glass, and taste on the other. Under the effect of this particular geometry, the tasting movement leaves the realm of simple use to become an authentic ritual of alchemy.

THE ALCHEMY OF DESIGN: FROM DRAWING TO GESTURE

Giving shape to the Surrealist Collection required high-precision work and infinite patience. Since the first sketches in August 2024, a dozen iterations have been necessary to sculpt the identity of each piece. Nearly two years of research have been devoted to the creation of this collection, the final pre-series of which was validated in May 2026.

From the original designs, analyzed with almost surgical rigor, to the passionate discussions with the House of Lehmann, each step was a challenge to the material to serve the aesthetics. Only the best blowers in the world today are able to bring to life glasses with such complex curves, to shape a 4° beveled rim, and to achieve such finesse. The result, of rare elegance and modernity, is faithful to the creative vision.
