Jean-Charles was born in 1969, the year that mankind went to the moon.
As such, 69 represents unlimited expression, freedom, creativity, intellectual revolution, artistry, and refinement. Of course, 69 is also a Rosé Brut based exclusively on Pinot Noir; a Rosé that entwines masculinity and femininity.
N° 1
The N° 1 signifies Jean-Charles vision of the penultimate wine, and the first Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that he ever created a wine that embraces the power of Napa Valley with the elegance of his native Burgundy. JCB N°1 reflects the true elegance and refinement of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon a rare jewel in any wine collection, there can only truly ever be one N°1.
N°3
N°3 signifies two worlds uniting as one to create a sum greater than its parts: one plus one equals three! Inspired by the birth of twins that bear the imprint of the old world and the new, this wine celebrates the marriage of two wine worlds united to create a grander vision in which oceans may separate us, but wines unite us... JCB N°3 is the best of both worlds!
N°22
N°22 represents the number eleven twice, and 11 is Jean-Charles' lucky number. N°22 was chosen because this wine has twice the intensity, grandeur and charisma of most Pinot Noirs.

In May 2019 Jean-Charles accepted the Wine Country Business of the Year French American Business Award from the French American Chamber of Commerce of San Francisco.
