Tasting Notes
The 2018 JCB Nº 1 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from vineyards just west of St. Helena. The wine presents as a deep garnet-purple in your glass, and opens with aromas of crème de cassis, boysenberry, and a hint of roasted spices. Black cherry, blackberry reduction, and cardamom all linger long on your palate, and create a full-bodied, firm, decadent and refreshing wine, enhanced by plush tannins and earthy notes. This wine melts in your mouth, floats across the palate, and leaves you wanting for more. Will only become more decadent with time over the next 20 years!
