Pinot Noir 2013 N° 22, 1.5L Intense • Tumultuous • Intimate
For Jean-Charles Boisset, the supple texture of a great Pinot Noir makes drinking it an almost INTIMATE experience. Earthy and powerful, N° 22 is a TUMULTUOUS riot of deep flavors. We think of it as insistent and INTENSE.

Tasting Notes
The Pinot Noir grapes growing in the southern vineyards of the Sonoma Coast appellation provide good structure, with a pure and delicate body. On the nose, you are greeted with red fruit - currant and cranberry - lead to dark cherry, and notes reminiscent of late summer in a dark forest. The palate is greeted with delicate floral notes, cranberry and hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. While bright on first taste, this wine matures and develops into a dark and weighty Pinot Noir in front of you that will entice and intrigue from first sip to last.
N° 22
The Story
N° 22 represents the number eleven twice, and eleven is Jean-Charles' lucky number. N° 22 was chosen because this wine has twice the intensity, grandeur and charisma of most Pinot Noirs.
